First.

Also, 1v1 is the best! So glad it won as OMotM.

Also, what happened to the old forums? ;-; I liked their uselessness.

No but seriously, anybody got some secret tricks for 1v1? I need more Pokémon as options for it :( I've got Deo-D, Machoke, Level 1 Cottonee, Donphan, and Choice Band Dragonite; I switch them out as necessary due to what others are running. However, I want more options. Any suggestions?

Breloom is pretty good but it's countered by some things, mainly Dragonite and anything powerful with a Lum Berry. Spec Latios is a strong Pokémon, too, as is Mamoswine but that one has more counters even.

Swagger mons are very luck based, you may win but you may lose. It's cool to have fun but not cool to ladder with unless you have insane luck :P

I hate you and your kind :C I need to get Miep's Slowbro so I can Own Tempo troll Liepards p_p But yes, Liepard is another option. I prefer Machoke's confusion hax due to RestTalk and huge Eviolite bulk.

smeargle does a better job of that with extreme speed and possibly mirror coat to bounce back hypnosis (although endeavour doesnt do crap to gengar). Fear also doesn't work at all against any pokemon with lefties, trick or priority.

I still prefer Machoke :[ Machoke has Eviolite to pretty much guarantee survival; with RestTalk, he can wall most things.

Ive taken a particular liking to Abomasnow. Although he cant beat bulky pokemon like reuniclus and stuff like jirachi he can still hold his own against a lot of things. Also if you find yourself in a pinch you can just spam protect and hope you get lucky.

Aggron with Metal Burst, Head Smash (Rock Head) and other two moves of choice is great (if he has a Focus Sash). You could also use Kyogre with Water Spout.

I love Flame/Toxic Orb Conkeldurr. I run Drain Punch, Mach Punch, Protect, Ice Punch. Works great :D
Also, what's the banlist in this tier? Because I saw someone using Genesect

Yes, indeed!
Abomasnow has a 50% chance of beating the ever-popular Hariyama even if it doesn't run Ice Shard; it also beats a ton of other fun stuff including Cinccino, Whimsicott, Level 1 anything, Genesect, Dragonite, Garchomp, and so forth. Unfortunately, there are a few things it can't win against; Jirachi, Tyranitar and Cloyster are just a few.
like fruit punch but with bullets instead of fruits

All but one of my Pokémon beats Shedinja :3
Deo-D: Toxic, Night Shade
Cottonee: Leech Seed
Machoke: Payback
Dragonite: Fire Punch

Donphan is sad and alone with EQ, Endeavor, Ice Shard, Superpower :(

Victini really shines in this that I've so far noticed.
So much pure power and utility in one package.

I use Mew for the heck of it.
The only downside to Gardevoir is how much it's sexualized. It's absolutely frekkin disgusting.

Is there an official list anywhere that shows what pokemon are allowed in 1v1? I've noticed that some ubers are allowed, but others aren't, so it doesnt follow any of the normal tier banlists.

Golurk works really well because of it's pretty damn good attack stat and a nice boost to bulk can turn it into the perfect tank :P

i've been having a lot of luck with an alakazam, using protect, disable, encore, and psychic. with a rocky helmet to add additional struggle recoil.

Smeargle with Spore, Imprison and Transform. And a good damage-causing move (like Hyper Beam) if they are immune to Spore.
